FAQ

  • When do you open?

    We are open from the start of May until end of September each year. Bookings and enquiries open each December.

  • Same day bookings

    Online bookings close at midnight the night before to reserve space for same-day walk-ins. If you're hoping to stay today, feel free to come by or message us to see if we have plenty of availability!

  • Do you have electrical hook-ups?

    Yes, we have a number of hook ups but they are limited so early booking is essential. None of the EHU’s on on the beach front but some do have a view of the sea.

  • Do you accept dogs?

    We love the four-leggers, but please keep them on a lead within the site and where-ever there is live stock. Please close gates behind you.

  • Can I request a specific spot?

    If you have a preference please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you though this is not always possible.

  • What are the arrival and departure times?

    Please arrive after 2pm and leave by 11am on the day of your departure - thank you!

  • Am I entitled to a refund if I cancel?

    All cancellations will be subject to a small admin fee, this is to cover the costs of online payments. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit your deposit, though please do get in touch as we might be able to move your booking to another date as we know that sometimes life happens.

  • Are campfires or BBQs allowed?

    Please do not have campfires or BBQs within the site. This is due to the VERY HIGH FIRE RISK TO OUR FRAGILE ENVIRONMENT and especially when it is dry. Thank you for your understanding

  • Do all pitches have a sea view?

    Not all pitches have a sea view but you are never more than a couple steps away from the beach.

  • Do you allow generators on site?

    No we don’t, this is to keep it peaceful for everyone.

  • Do you allow drones?

    No we don’t, this is to keep it peaceful for everyone.

  • Is there wi-fi?

    No, there is no wi-fi available for use but 4G is available across most of the site.

  • Is there someone available on site at all times?

    We are a community run campsite and are not always available on site, please check the office for a number to call in an emergency.
